Peel Sessions Espresso

Our summer espresso comes from two countries widely known for producing some of the world's most distinct and sought after coffees. Half of this blend is from the Kochere region of Ethiopia with brilliant flavors that range from sparkling lemon to hints of lavender and tea like characteristics. The other half, a bouquet from Colombia, collectively known as San Sebastian exhibits a perfume-like quality accompanied by notes of citrus, chamomile, and baker's spice. Together these coffees form a blend which is remarkably complex with deep layers of citrus hinting at tangerine and blood orange. A radiant floral character follows, which presses through the mouth-feel and into the finish for a balanced and well structured espresso. We've found this blend performs best with an 18.5g dose, 28-29g yield, and an extraction time ranging from 26-30 seconds.
